Our Story

Same Family Behind The Counter Since 1964.

Royal Transmission became Transmission Service Center, but the people, the address, and the way we treat customers never changed.

1964

Royal Transmission opens in Las Vegas

Moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles and opened the shop's doors under the Royal Transmission name.

1967

The move to South Highland Drive

Business had grown enough to move into the location we still operate out of today.

70s / 80s

Growth to seven additional locations

Royal Transmission expanded across the valley, built on repeat customers and word of mouth.

Mid 90s

Franchise sold, Highland shop stays in the family

The franchise was sold to a larger corporation. The Highland location was kept and, unable to use the Royal name for five years, became Transmission Service Center. The new name stuck, and today we're known by both.

Billy Byrne carries it forward

Billy has run the shop ever since, keeping the same standards the business was built on.

"We are a highly trusted, multi generation, family owned shop. Our customers leave happy and refer their friends, because we will always avoid charging them for a repair they don't need."

Integrity First

We tell you what's actually wrong, not what's most profitable to fix.

Built On Repeat Customers

Most of our business is drivers coming back, and the friends they send us.

Running Things Today

Billy Byrne

Billy took over the shop from his father in the mid 90s and has been running it ever since. The name above the door has changed once, but the way the shop treats its customers hasn't changed at all.
